Teachers Training Programme At JAUNPUR Held On 5th December, 2018
IUCTE BHU on dated 5 December 2018 conducted a training programme on “Integrated Approach on Quality Health and Education: School based Programme” at DIET of the district Head quarter. The institute trained 280 teachers at the DIET of the District Jaunpur. Training programme was started with introductory session given by Mr. Awadhesh Mishra and Dr. Shuchi Dubey. In this programme, Prof. V. P. Singh, Retd. Prof. from NCERT, New Delhi, Prof. Hare Ram Pandey, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi, Dr. Ravijot Sandhu, Nava Yug School, New Delhi and Dr. Nagendra Kumar, Faculty of Education, BHU, Varanasi, were the resource persons.
Prof V.P. Singh highlighted the training programme and said that teacher should give their best by teaching by doing activities to teach the school children. Prof. V. P. Singh explained how to teach Mathematics in easy way. Prof. V. P. Singh, NCERT explained the basic concepts of mathematics to teachers. He described teachers to explain the content through process and make it interesting so that students take interest in studying mathematics.
Next speaker Prof. Hare Ram Pandey spoke on Health Education and Yoga. In the training programme, he said that implementation of Yoga in education is necessary for the improvement of health in the school going children. He also said that Brahmi and other different medicinal plant and healthy nutritional supplement are very useful for the improvement of mental and spiritual health. He also emphasized that ministry of AYUSH has come out with a prescription for the sound health of student and launch the AYUSH intervention programme.
Dr. Ravijot Sandhu discussed the importance of teaching of Science by the method of teaching by doing activities. At the last session, Dr. Nagendra Kumar explained about Art of teaching. Then, Dr. Shuchi Dubey talk about the Inclusive education, Individual differences, Multiple Intelligence and role of teachers and teaching methods. Mr. Awadhesh Mishra, explained about evolution of oxygen during photosynthesis and adaptation of plant in different habitats. Dr. Manasi Pandey gave the tips on methods of techniques of teaching Hindi Poetry and shared the practical based experiment with the participants. Session ended by the vote of thanks by Dr. Shuchi Dubey and feedback from the participants
